Zebras have white stripes on a black body, with numbers of stripes that vary, as a unique credential to each Zebra. Thirty-nine stripes is a significant number for a zebra, or worn, embellished on a man’s back, or a brother’s back. Zebras wear their stripes proudly as camouflage to signify their identity. Would your brother take stripes for your mercy, your life extended, a painful gift for a purpose? We can be eternally grateful for a brother who would choose to receive 39 stripes for us on his back. Hmmm, let me think...yes, I am grateful to receive healing from stripes that flip the circumstances of the impossible mistakes. I call this good news because for me to be healed, I will not and cannot boast or even say I did this. Is this a marvellous gift!? Healing from stripes on a Zebra is a very great analogy.
