To my dearest friends, our beautiful followers and collectors,
I have wanted to speak with you sooner and share a beautiful testimony that we've witnessed in our family, and I believe the time is now.
This message is simply said: Let the weak say, "I am strong."
As many of you know, my beautiful mom, Kathy, who is so faithful in helping us at the office, writing cards, and is a wonderful, wonderful mother of this business, was diagnosed with epilepsy over two years ago. This came after a very bad head trauma from a car accident that nearly totaled her car, followed by another severe head injury from a bad slip. For two years, we’ve been witnessing my mom have unexpected seizures.
Well, this is what I am sharing with more depth today: my family has witnessed a beautiful healing testimony. This was one of the things we have been patiently enduring and waiting through—doctors, medication, and lots of prayer and faith, surrounding ourselves with people of faith when we've needed people to hold us up.
Let me tell you this beautiful testimony: We have witnessed the Lord heal my mom totally from seizures.
It’s now been over two months that she has not had one seizure! Picture of my mom baking challah first time in years. She has not baked like this in a very long time ( she owned a bakery for 30 years)
Her miracle started when we went down to Florida for a January family vacation to celebrate my Mom and Dad’s 52nd wedding anniversary. We were so blessed to be at a church of dear friends of ours, Tom and Jane Hammon.
One day, my mom went up to the front of the church and fell down to her knees, resting in the presence of the Lord for the whole worship service. Afterward, she looked at me and said, "Cydney, I have shovels of stuff coming off of my brain." My dad and I watched her very closely then, and every single day since, because we were not allowed to leave her alone. Faithfully to this day, my mom has been healed and has not had one seizure.
I know that God’s heart is always to heal people and He wants us to be totally set free. We know everyone's healing journey is different, but we do know the heart of the Lord is always to heal. He sees us always as complete, whole, and healed, and we’re not to become weary when things take longer than expected. I have many things in my life I’m still waiting for, but somehow He continues to pour out His Spirit in my life so that I never give up. Friends it is not easy, and we need strength when we are weary and always believe what God says.
The test is always our faith and surrounding ourselves with people that won't give up on us, even when we get the bad report. One thing the Lord has always told us is He never said things would be easy, but He said He would be with us all along, and that our faith would strengthen as we get to know His faithfulness. God always talks to us about getting His reward and His glory, and one thing I have learned in my few short years is that the Lord will not give His glory to another, and it is truly about the process.
We're still very much in waiting, and I’m sure many of you are as well, but I want to encourage you today. I want to speak to your spirit, soul, and body, and remind you that sometimes in that place of full surrender, when we recognize we just can’t do things in our own strength, we have to trust the lead of the Lord. Even when things don't make sense, even when He’s asking us to go somewhere that doesn't make sense or walk a certain pathway, sometimes it's all about a divine set-up. It could just be for one minute where we're called to be in the right place at the right time and release something for the Lord to one person. You never know what that unlocks in the heavens!
Friends, I always send my love to you and our team prays for you faithfully every day. We love that you support us through purchasing the scarves, but what really matters to us is that you support us by letting us know how you’re doing and just being part of our network of incredible women full of compassion, strength, and also weakness, so we can be there to help lift each other up.
I love you all so much and thank you for your kindness!

A Beautiful Picture of Restoration
I want to share a final, beautiful testimony with you. You can't make this stuff up!
Here is a beautiful picture and recipe of my mom, Kathy, back to her amazing self, baking CHALLAH bread! This was last week, where we baked a beautiful Challah in the shape of a key after Passover. We are believing for new doors to open, and I could not believe it when I walked into the kitchen and saw what my mom was doing. I haven't seen my mom bake bread like this in over five years! She even shares the picture from start to finish and her recipe.
